Thermal

The thermal treatment unit can treat all types of contaminated soil including clay, sand, gravel and aggregate. This high temperature treatment plant can burn over 1100^oC which should destroy all organic contaminants within the material to an efficiency rate exceeding 99%.

Thermal Treatment

The plant includes thermal desorber units, cooling system, baghouse, thermal oxidizer and a chemical scrubber system. This is an ideal plant for the treatment of heavy oil contaminated soil

Plant Capacity

This system is capable of treating between 80 to 120 tonnes of soil per hour dependent on the matrix.

Treated Material

Treated soil are commonly placed into the original excavation as backfill, to fulfill closure requirements and this material can be compacted to a density greater than 95%.
